Elevator complaints.  I read a few consumer reviews where they complained of having issues with the elevator.  A couple said it had broked or stopped working for them while one said that the elevator wasn't lined up right and therefore wouldn't work properly.

Feedback on the Melissa and Doug Garage

Overall, feedback on this toy parking garage was somewhat mixed.  About half the reviews I read raved about the toy and the quality of it and said that their children were having a lot of fun with it. 

Some reviewers however reported the elevator issue I mentioned and others said they just did feel the quality was there for the price, which I thought was unusual to hear about a Melissa and Doug toy. 

If the negative reviews concern you, I suggest considering the Kidkraft Garage instead.  Overall though, the Melissa and Doug Garage still seems like a viable option at a great price.
